Glenn R. August

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Glenn R. August became CEO of Oak Hill Advisors (OHA) in 1999, following his co-founding of the predecessor firm to OHA in 1987. Under his leadership, OHA has become a leading asset manager across multiple credit strategies, including private credit, leveraged loans, high yield debt, stressed and distressed debt and structured credit. Mr. August heads OHA’s global distressed investment business, chairs the firm’s executive and investment strategy committees and serves on several fund investment committees. He has played leadership roles in numerous restructurings and, since 1987, has served on 18 corporate boards. Mr. August is also actively involved in relationship management across OHA’s global investor base. In 2021, he led the acquisition of OHA by T. Rowe Price Group, Inc. and currently serves on its board of directors. Mr. August’s non-profit activities include serving on the boards of Mount Sinai Medical Center, the Partnership for New York City and Horace Mann School. He is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Mr. August earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar, and a B.S. from Cornell University.

William H. Bohnsack, Jr.

President

William H. Bohnsack, Jr. is responsible for day-to-day management of various aspects of OHA, including client relationships, firm strategy, product development, operations, legal, finance and human resources. Mr. Bohnsack is a member of the firm’s executive committee and also chairs or serves on the risk, investment strategy, valuation and sustainability committees. Mr. Bohnsack joined OHA in 1993 as a high yield and distressed debt investor. He previously worked at Prudential Capital and Keystone Group as an investor in both the private and public credit markets. Mr. Bohnsack serves on the Board of Advisors for Columbia Medical School and on the Board of Trustees of the Cape Eleuthera Foundation. He earned an M.B.A. from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.A. from St. Lawrence University.

Alan M. Schrager

Chief Investment Officer

Alan M. Schrager oversees OHA’s integrated investment platform across liquid credit, private credit and opportunistic strategies. In his role as CIO, Mr. Schrager provides firmwide investment oversight, including chairing multiple investment committees and approving the firm’s largest and most complex investments. He founded OHA’s private credit business and continues to share responsibility for its private credit investment activities. Mr. Schrager serves on various OHA committees, including the executive committee, investment strategy, valuation and compliance committees. Previously, he shared portfolio management responsibilities across the firm’s opportunistic credit, private and liquid mandates. Earlier in his career, he held senior research responsibility for investments across private credit companies, software, industrials and gaming. Prior to joining OHA in early 2003, Mr. Schrager was a Managing Director of USBancorp Libra, where he was responsible for originating, evaluating and structuring private equity, mezzanine and debt transactions and also held several positions at Primary Network, a data CLEC, including Chief Financial Officer and Interim Chief Executive Officer. He previously worked in the Leveraged Finance and High Yield Capital Markets group at UBS Securities, LLC. Mr. Schrager currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for three OHA registered funds and serves on the Board of Directors of Smile Brands and New Heights Youth, Inc. He earned an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. from the University of Michigan.

Adam B. Kertzner

Portfolio Manager & Senior Partner

Adam B. Kertzner shares portfolio management responsibilities for a number of OHA’s multi-strategy portfolios. He is a member of the investment strategy, sustainability and several fund investment committees. Mr. Kertzner joined OHA in early 2002 as an investment professional with a focus on automotive, gaming, paper and packaging and general industrial credits. He then served as OHA’s head trader focusing on high yield and other asset classes. Prior to joining OHA, Mr. Kertzner worked at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette and Credit Suisse First Boston in the Financial Sponsors Coverage group. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Aurora Sustainable Lands LLC. Mr. Kertzner earned a B.A., cum laude, from Duke University.

Rajul Aggarwal

Portfolio Manager & Partner

Rajul Aggarwal shares portfolio management responsibilities for OHA’s high yield bond portfolios. Previously, he had senior research responsibility for investments in building products, energy, power and industrials. Prior to OHA, Mr. Aggarwal worked at Marathon Asset Management where he focused on energy, power, chemicals and airline opportunities. At Marathon, he also focused on distressed opportunities and served on multiple restructuring committees. Mr. Aggarwal began his finance career in investment banking at Lehman Brothers. Prior to that, he worked as a field engineer for Schlumberger in Latin America. Mr. Aggarwal earned an M.B.A. from Kellogg School of Management and a B.Tech. from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi.

Harpreet S. Anand

Harpreet S. Anand shares portfolio management responsibility for a number of OHA’s portfolios. He serves on the firm’s executive committee, as well as the compliance, investment strategy and several fund investment committees. Mr. Anand is also a member of OHA’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council. Previously, he had senior research responsibility for automotive, building products, chemicals, metals & mining, paper & packaging and aerospace & defense industries. Prior to joining OHA in 2006, Mr. Anand worked at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. in its Leveraged Finance/Financial Sponsors Group. He earned a B.B.A., with honors, from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

Eitan Arbeter

Eitan Arbeter shares portfolio management responsibilities for stressed and distressed credit and certain less liquid multi-strategy portfolios. Mr. Arbeter serves on the firm’s investment strategy and several fund investment committees. He has led a number of high-profile restructuring cases and has served on various ad hoc creditor committees, including on several steering committees. Prior to assuming a portfolio management role, Mr. Arbeter spent over 10 years as a senior research analyst. In this time, he had responsibility for OHA’s distressed investments and covered the consumer products, retail, restaurants, cable and telecommunications industries. Prior to joining OHA, Mr. Arbeter worked at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. in its Global Industrials Group. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Expro Group Holdings International Limited and the Winebow Group. Mr. Arbeter earned a B.B.A, with honors, from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

Alexis Atteslis

Co-Head of Europe & Partner

Alexis Atteslis shares primary responsibility for managing the firm’s European operations, as well as for portfolio management of OHA’s European investments, and is based in the firm’s London office. Mr. Atteslis is a member of OHA’s executive committee, investment strategy, valuation and various fund investment committees. Additionally, he heads the firm’s investment activities in the global maritime industry. Previously, Mr. Atteslis worked at Deutsche Bank and at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He currently serves on the board of a number of OHA’s portfolio companies. Mr. Atteslis received an M.A. from the University of Cambridge and has earned a Chartered Accountant qualification with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Nadav Braun

Head of Research & Partner

Nadav Braun serves as an investment professional and has research responsibility for healthcare and technology. Prior to joining OHA, Mr. Braun was a Senior Vice President and Principal with Credit Research and Trading, a high yield trading boutique, where he served as an investment professional. He previously worked as a research analyst at Quilcap Corp. and began his career at Goldman Sachs where he was a generalist in the Corporate Finance Group. Mr. Braun earned a B.A., magna cum laude, from Amherst College.

Nathaniel H. Furman

Head of North American Private Credit Origination & Partner

Nathaniel H. Furman serves as a senior investment professional in the firm’s private lending area. Previously, he had research responsibility for the firm’s retail, consumer products, food and beverage, gaming and lodging investments. Mr. Furman is a member of OHA’s sustainability committee. Prior to joining OHA, he worked at Strategic Value Partners, where he focused on retail and consumer opportunities. Prior to that, Mr. Furman worked in various senior distressed research roles. He began his career in leveraged finance at Salomon Brothers. Mr. Furman earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. from Hamilton College.

Joseph Goldschmid

Joseph Goldschmid serves as an investment professional with a primary focus on stressed, distressed and special situations investments. Prior to joining OHA, he was a Director in the Distressed & Special Situations Group at Angelo Gordon. During his career, Mr. Goldschmid has led numerous high-profile restructurings, with expertise in driving financial and operational transformations for companies navigating complex reorganizations. Before joining Angelo Gordon, he worked in the Restructuring and Special Situations Group at The Blackstone Group and PJT Partners. Mr. Goldschmid began his career as an analyst at Morgan Stanley. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Valaris Limited (NYSE: VAL) and National Resilience. Mr. Goldschmid is also a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and the American Bankruptcy Institute. He holds a B.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was recognized as a James Kent Scholar.

Natalie Harvard

Head of Investor Relations & Partner

Natalie Harvard has primary responsibility for investor relations and certain aspects of new business development. She serves on the firm’s executive committee, co-chairs the new product and business activity committee and is a member of the risk and compliance committees as well as the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council. Prior to joining OHA in 2007, Ms. Harvard was an Associate in the Global Capital Markets and Investment Banking Group at Bank of America. She currently serves as a Komen New York Community Board Member. Ms. Harvard earned a B.S., with highest distinction, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Chris Kenny

Portfolio Manager & Partner

Chris Kenny serves as an investment professional focused on opportunistic, special situations and distressed investments. He has led numerous high-profile restructuring cases and served on various ad hoc creditor committees. Prior to joining OHA, Mr. Kenny worked at Diameter Capital Partners as a Senior Analyst focused on the energy, pipeline and power sectors as well as litigations/liquidations. Previously, he worked at Aurelius Capital Management as a Research Analyst, at Goldman Sachs as a Vice President in the Leveraged Finance Group and served as a submarine Junior Officer in the United States Navy. Mr. Kenny currently serves on the board of directors for Cricket Valley Energy Center. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, where he won a Shermet Award.

Ohkee Peter Kwon

Head of APAC - Client Coverage & Partner

Ohkee Peter Kwon shares responsibility for investment product development and oversight of client coverage in the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to joining OHA, Mr. Kwon was a Managing Director at the Royal Bank of Scotland in North Asia financial institutional sales. Prior to Royal Bank of Scotland, he worked in fixed income sales at Morgan Stanley in New York City, Seoul and Hong Kong. Mr. Kwon earned a B.A., cum laude, from Harvard University.

Greg Leveto

Portfolio Manager & Partner

Greg Leveto serves as an investment professional focusing on asset based finance and sits on OHA’s executive committee. Before joining OHA, Mr. Leveto ran the Transportation, Infrastructure and Energy Financing group at Deutsche Bank, where he was a Managing Director. He previously worked at Goldman Sachs for eight years, most recently in the Hard Asset Trading group in the Fixed Income division. While at Goldman Sachs, Mr. Leveto also worked as an investment analyst in the Special Asset Group and as an investment banker on the Real Estate, Gaming and Lodging team. He spent the first two years of his career at Land Group Atlanta, a boutique real estate advisory and development firm. Mr. Leveto is Chief Executive Officer for the T. Rowe Price OHA Flexible Credit Income Fund and also serves on the board of NAMI NYC, an organization focused on mental health awareness and advocacy. He earned a B.S. from the Boston University Questrom School of Business.

Eric Muller

Portfolio Manager & Partner, Chief Executive Officer – BDCs

Eric Muller shares responsibility for leading OHA’s private credit business and has primary management responsibility for OHA’s BDCs. Mr. Muller also serves on the firm’s executive committee. Prior to joining OHA, he worked in Goldman Sachs’ Merchant Banking Division, where he was a Partner in the Private Credit Group, responsible for leading its private senior lending business in North America and managing vehicles that invested across the spectrum of the credit market. Mr. Muller previously worked as a private equity investor for the Cypress Group. Additionally, he serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees for Boston University and on the Investment Committee for the University’s Endowment. Mr. Muller is Co-Chairman of the Board of Trustees for StreetSquash, an after-school youth enrichment program. He earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A., summa cum laude, salutatorian, from Boston University.

Adam Nankervis

Adam Nankervis shares portfolio management responsibilities for a number of OHA’s portfolios. He serves on various firm committees including the firm’s new product and business activity committee and several fund investment committees. Previously, Mr. Nankervis had senior research responsibility for the paper and packaging, services, gaming, lodging and real estate industries. He previously worked at Credit Suisse in the Financial Sponsors Group in New York and in the Investment Banking Division in Sydney. Mr. Nankervis earned a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (First Class Honors) and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne.

TK Narayan

Head of Corporate Structured Products & Partner

TK Narayan serves as a portfolio manager focusing on various asset classes within the structured products sector. He serves on OHA’s executive committee, as well as the compliance, counterparty risk, investment strategy, treasury & finance and several fund investment committees. Prior to joining OHA in 2008, Mr. Narayan worked as a portfolio manager in the Structured Credit Investments Group at Lehman Brothers Inc., where he was a Senior Vice President with a focus on secondary CDO investments. He was also previously a part of Lehman’s secondary CDO trading desk and held responsibilities in the structured credit area including quantitative research, modeling and trading. Mr. Narayan earned a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras in Chennai, India.

Lucy Panter

Lucy Panter has portfolio management responsibilities for European performing investments. She serves on various firm committees including the compliance committee, sustainability committee and the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council. Prior to joining OHA, Ms. Panter was a partner and portfolio manager at GoldenTree Asset Management, where she was head of European Research. She focused on making investments in the consumer, retail and leisure sectors. Ms. Panter was also responsible for managing the firm’s European CLOs. Previously, she worked at PSAM and Goldman Sachs. Ms. Panter currently serves on the board of Johns Hopkins USA Foundation and the Larmer Tree Project. She is a Trustee of the Drapers’ Multi-Academy Trust and serves as Chair of the Governors of Drapers’ Mayland Primary School. Ms. Panter earned an M.A. from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Relations and a B.A. from University College London.

Musa Sönmez

Co-Head of Europe & Partner

Musa Sönmez shares primary responsibility for managing the firm’s European operations, as well as for portfolio management of OHA’s European investments, and is based in OHA’s London office. Mr. Sönmez is a member of various firm committees including risk, investment strategy and various fund investment committees. Previously, he worked for Strategic Value Partners (SVP) where he focused on investments in European distressed credit and special situations. Prior to this, Mr. Sönmez worked at Lehman Brothers’ European Leveraged Finance Group in London and Lazard’s M&A advisory business in Germany. He currently serves on the board of a number of OHA’s portfolio companies. Mr. Sönmez earned an M.B.A. from the IESE Business School in Barcelona and studied business administration in Frankfurt.

Justin G. Tasso

Portfolio Manager & Partner

Justin G. Tasso shares portfolio management responsibilities for a number of OHA’s multi-strategy portfolios and is a member of the firm’s executive committee. Mr. Tasso has been an active participant in complex credit situations, serving on numerous ad-hoc creditor committees, including multiple steering committees, and as Lead Director on the board of an OHA portfolio company. Prior to his current role, he served as a senior research analyst covering stressed and distressed credit and as a senior industry specialist across the gaming, lodging, business services, software, consumer, auto and real estate sectors. Before joining OHA in 2005, Mr. Tasso was a member of the Global Industrial Group at UBS Investment Bank. He holds a B.S. from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.

Fritz Thomas

Head of Client Coverage & Partner

Fritz Thomas has primary responsibility for client coverage and investment product development. Mr. Thomas is a member of various firm committees including risk, compliance and sustainability committees. Prior to joining OHA in 2008, he worked at Deutsche Bank for ten years, most recently as Managing Director and head of global distribution for CDOs and other alternative products. Until his return to New York from London in June 2008, his duties also included management of Deutsche Bank’s European CDO platform. Mr. Thomas previously worked at Bankers Trust Company, where he structured and syndicated corporate loans before joining the CDO Group. In addition, he worked at Chemical Bank in a corporate lending function. Mr. Thomas earned an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.

Declan Tiernan

Co-Head of Europe & Partner, Head of EMEA - Client Coverage

Declan Tiernan shares primary responsibility for managing the firm’s European operations, as well as leading OHA’s client coverage group in the EMEA region. Mr. Tiernan serves on various firm committees, including the compliance and ESG committees. Prior to joining OHA, he was Managing Director and Global Head of Alternative Fund Distribution at UBS Investment Bank and previously held similar roles at Deutsche Bank and HSBC, where he was responsible for structuring and marketing alternative credit products to European and Middle Eastern investors. Mr. Tiernan graduated with First Class Honours in Mathematics and Physics and holds a Ph.D. from Queen’s University, Belfast, where he currently serves as a member of the University Foundation Board. He also serves as Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Ireland Funds Great Britain and sits on the Governing Body of the Royal Irish Academy of Music, where he chairs the Finance and Pension Trustee Committees. Mr. Tiernan has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and serves on the Board of the Alternative Credit Council.

Thomas S. Wong

Thomas S. Wong, Portfolio Manager & Partner, shares portfolio management responsibilities for a number of OHA’s portfolios. He serves on various firm committees including the sustainability committee, investment strategy committee and several fund investment committees. Previously, Mr. Wong had senior research responsibility for the chemicals, consumer products, food and beverage, healthcare, industrials, retail and restaurants, services and telecommunications, media, cable and technology industries. He currently serves as Vice Chair on the executive committee of the Board of Directors for the Loan Syndications and Trading Association (LSTA). Prior to joining OHA in 2001, Mr. Wong worked at Deutsche Bank, where he was a member of the Debt Capital Markets group. He received a B.A., cum laude, from Harvard University and has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Mark Zaeske

Chief Financial Officer & Partner

Mark Zaeske directly manages the accounting and finance, operations and IT departments and has shared oversight responsibility with the President for the legal & compliance and HR departments. Mr. Zaeske joined OHA after serving as the Chief Financial Officer of HSBC North America and the Head of Finance at Bridgewater Associates. Previously, he served as the Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Accounting Officer at Discover Financial Services and in several senior finance positions at JPMorgan Chase, including as the CFO of four different business units. Mr. Zaeske also previously served as the Treasurer of AIG SunAmerica, Inc. and as the Assistant Treasurer of Citigroup following the merger with Travelers Group. He began his career as a public accountant at KPMG. Mr. Zaeske received an M.B.A. in Finance with highest honors from the University of Chicago and a B.B.A. in Accounting, magna cum laude, from the University of Texas at Austin.
