Sebastian Grasso has primary responsibility for OHA’s tax policies, planning and objectives. Mr. Grasso is a member of the firm’s risk committee. He spent the past seven years as a Managing Director in the Blackstone Global Tax Planning group where he was responsible for tax matters with respect to Blackstone’s Hedge Fund Solutions Group (BAAM) and Strategic Partners business. In that role, Mr. Grasso provided tax support to the investment deal teams across a number of asset classes and geographies. Prior to Blackstone, he spent six years at KPMG in their Merger and Acquisitions and Private Equity practices. Mr. Grasso earned a J.D. with a Litigation Concentration from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, as well as a Master of Laws in Taxation from New York Law School. Additionally, he earned a B.A. from Fordham University.
